One of the goals for a multi-hospital healthcare system was to provide its physicians with a secure but easy way to access various resources and content online. One of the key considerations was that the resources and content needed to be self-manageable by the healthcare system’s staff as well.
The Solution
Customizing in a security integrated system.
We implemented a self-serviceable CMS private site solution and extended its security and capabilities to include features such as Active Directory single sign-on, a centralized user-updateable Physicians Directory synced to the system, a user-managed CME tracker, physicians news & informational/educational resources, and various other physician-specific content. Physicians could safely and easily access and digest intended content and valuable resources through the portal.
